Overview
I had the opportunity to work with the Novaliches District Hospital to build an experience that will make their platform more efficient in handling the bills of each patient, and also to the facilitator.

As a contracted UX Designer, I develop high-fidelity wireframe, clickable, prototypes, and user flows for the the website to enhance user engagement and increase the user rate.

Understand
Problem

Patients, and Accountant are having a hard time to facilitate the bills of the patient - creating, updating, deleting, and filtering. The Billing portal aims to simplify the system the payment, even it may be actual payment, or e-payment.

Product Goals

Accountant, and Cashier are often overwhelmed by the billing information related to the history of the patient.
Paying through online is a headache for everyone, since sometimes it goes well, and sometimes it might not go as planned.
•Design a website that guides the patient according to their payment transaction.

•All the payments are facilitated through the information of the Accountant, and filtered correctly as the record of the patient.

•Transaction will be filtered if not used by the patient, or have this expiration date in terms of activity.

•The website is accessible by the accountant, cashier, and the nurse to monitor the transaction of a patient.

Competitive Analysis

I analyzed competitors key objectives, including the payment method, payment transaction, payment receipt, report, and UX.
Due to the lack of development in the Billing System of the hospital, and issues with user navigation. I decided to research, and make a reference, or inspiration through the other Hospital Billing system for comparison, and contrast.
I also assessed the Billing Systems of other companies, or hospitals which made it easier for me to iterate the design, and functionality of the system.

Conclusion

The research phase clearly identified issues related to the availability of both internal and external entities.

This data guided the design process, prioritizing both accountants and cashiers. I developed a more minimalistic design to enhance user-friendliness while focusing on the system's core functionalities.

My goal was to provide cashiers and accountants with an easier way to manage patient information, making the CRUD (Create, Read, Update, Delete) functionality more visually appealing and intuitive for them.

The issue of availability was challenging, both in terms of my schedule and the personnel I needed to meet. Unfortunately, our schedules often didn’t align, which required me to be flexible in order to meet their needs, specifically regarding revisions, assessments, and analysis.

Feedback was a key strength of this project, allowing me to effectively communicate with the team and identify what should be included and what might not be applicable.

Novaliches District Hospital enabled me to leverage my UI and UX skills to design an interface that best suits their needs, making it convenient and efficient for their use.

Ideate
Wireframe & Prototype

After finalizing the flow, I sketched the core features and created mid-fidelity wireframes.

These wireframes were refined through several iterations and finalized based on user feedback.
